In 1996 the Arroyo Hondo forest fire swept through the land north of Taos, New Mexico, destroying many buildings at Lama Foundation. The structures pictured below are the remains of the Intensive Studies Center at Lama. For a week I spent solitary afternoons sitting in the sun-drenched refuge of these ghost buildings. Melody
